Simple Outdoor Activities You Can Do With Your Kids To Pass The Time This Spring

This spring is anything but normal, but that doesn’t mean you have to just force your kids to sit inside and go stir crazy!

We can’t go anywhere, schools are canceled, there are no more after school or weekend activities, and forget about playdates.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t have some good, old-fashioned fun with our kids!

In fact, since we have been staying home, we have spent way more intentional time with each other, gotten outside every day, and I’ve watched my kids become more creative and less dependent on screens or others to come up with activities for them.

Instead, I’ve watched them imagine, explore, and expand their little horizons, even while being stuck at home without their routine.

So today, I’m sharing a list of simple outdoor activities you can do with your kids right now so you can all get some fresh air while still staying home.

And some of these might sound too simple or too obvious, but you’d be amazed at what your brain can forget over the years!

And you’d be even more amazed at how some of these simple activities can create entirely new worlds for your kids.

As you can see, the list goes on and on, costs little to nothing, and provides hours of entertainment and imaginative play.

I bet a lot of these are resonating with you and taking you back to when you were a kid too.

We used to spend hours and hours outside in the spring and summer, playing with neighborhood kids and making up games of all kinds.

And while the social aspect is currently off limits, that doesn’t mean you can’t still do all these things with your kids!

And I bet you’ll be surprised at how much your whole family enjoys it (and grows) in the process.

Which one of these activities will you do this week? Let me know in the comments!
