Hi friends! I’m Lauren!

I’m a girl mom, lover of interior design and all things farmhouse (on a budget of course), work-from-home digital marketing guru, amateur DIY-er and home project-winger, medical resident hubby supporter, gluten-free/dairy-free baking enthusiast, health foodie, and wellness nut.
Phew… That’s a lot of things, am I right?
One thing you may have already guessed is that I’m busy. Like wake up at 5am and go busy. But who isn’t these days? Anyways…
If you follow me on Instagram, you know that my main focus is sharing my home with all of you. I just love letting you in and giving you a taste of my daily world and how I like to style my spaces (with a little real talk and motherhood craziness sprinkled right in).
I share lots of projects, plants, playrooms, and painted furniture.
And don’t worry — you can expect to see all those same projects and spaces in more detail here on the blog, but expect to see more about my other identifiers, too.
Because yes, my home is my focus and my number one niche, but you know what home really means to me?
It means a place to decorate to my heart’s content, spaces to shower with creative projects as they suddenly pop into my head (thanks, hubby, for just going along with things and understanding that I can’t be stopped), a safe and loving place to raise our two girls, a home-base after all the long hours my husband spends at the hospital, an office space for my marketing career, a test kitchen for mother-daughter baking time and experimentation (aka ‘baking’ memories… see what I did there?).
Home is where I work on my health, my mindset, my energy. It’s where I rest and recharge after a long, busy day. Home is my safe haven, my family’s safe haven. It’s where we all teach, love, grow, play, experiment, fail, rest, and live.
So welcome!
I promise to share it all – the good, the bad, and the Pinterest fails. And I am just so glad you’re here to share in this journey with me as I continue to wing-it and hope for the best!
And I hope we can continue to learn from each other and help one another grow into our best selves along the way.
