Finding The Right Mattress: The Truth No One Tells You (Plus, A Coupon Code)

Okay, listen up. Because I’m here to tell you something I think you need to hear. NOT ALL MATTRESSES ARE CREATED EQUAL. Period. End of story.

Okay, not end of story. Because I have much more to say on the topic.

Backstory…

When Michael and I bought our very first home, we decided the first purchase we would make for our home would be a king-size mattress. Because when we rented before that, our room was only large enough for a queen.

We saved up. Because mattresses are expensive and so is buying a home. And we bought the cheapest “mattress in a box” we could find at the time.

We thought it was fantastic. Because it gave us room, but not because of the comfort level.

We went about our lives. Not thinking much of our mattress. But I started to notice things.

Every time we traveled or stayed in a hotel, even if it wasn’t a nice hotel, I would comment on how well I slept. How comfortable I was. No matter where we stayed.

Fast forward even more time, and I would comment on how my back or neck hurt when I woke up, laughing it off as getting older or sleeping funny.

WHERE IT ALL CHANGED
