Easy Holiday Porch & Outdoor Decor Ideas (Plus Some Black Friday Tool Deals)

Ever since we painted our home, I’ve been dreaming up ideas for how to decorate it for the holidays. Which is funny because never have I ever spent any time decorating the outside of my house before now!

Want to know why?

Well it’s pretty clear to me. I never felt inspired because I never loved how the outside of my home looked!

Now I want to highlight it!

STEP 1: PAVERS

It all started with a little inspiration to pave our front porch! I had painted it before, which was fine! But I really wanted to elevate it!

So I added the same pavers I added on our back patio…

I used Carton Mist and Sendero Mica.

STEP 2: TOUCH UPS

Then it was time to touch some things up! Like our front door paint. I used Lowe’s Stainmaster Paint in Tricorn Black by Sherwin Williams in a matte finish.

This paint is super scrubbable and holds up great!

STEP 3: FINALLY IT WAS TIME TO DECORATE

Since I loved how my house looked with the painted brick and garage doors and new front porch vibe, I wanted to keep it simple, traditional, but still feel like ME.

And that included adding in some color and figuring out how to make it all work together!

I used this flocked berry faux 4′ tree on my front porch. It had so much doing on it didn’t really need anything but a bow and new pot to look like a million bucks!

I added these wreaths on my front door and windows…

Annnnnd I added this garland over my garage doors and front door!

I added cute bottle brush trees in my window boxes in an assortment of colors (I just glued them to scrap wood so they wouldn’t blow over), and I used vintage velvet ribbon in an assortment of pretty colors to pull it all together.

I adore how our home looks for the holidays, and now I can focus on enjoying everything else the holidays entail!
