It would be so nice if we all had all the money we’d ever need to decorate just how we’d like with all the most expensive, popular, on-trend items, wouldn’t it?
But actually would it?
Because for me, half the fun is finding the deal! Don’t get my wrong, I definitely splurge on the occasional designer piece or two when I feel like it will really add to my home.
After all, the designer pieces usually are of better quality so they end up lasting longer and bring you joy for longer.
But it isn’t always practical to purchase and splurge that way!
So something I like to do is gather inspiration from some of the higher end design spots like Arhaus, Serena & Lily, Pottery Barn, Magnolia, etc. Then, I search around my go to favorites like Target, Walmart, Wayfair, and others to try to duplicate the look for less.
And you know what I’ve found?
You can almost always find the look you’re going for, for less!
So today I’m sharing just 7 on trend designer finds for way less that you can feel good about purchasing for your home today, knowing you got a good deal!

7 POPULAR DESIGNER DUPLICATES TO HELP YOU GET THE LOOK FOR LESS
BOHO POUF OTTOMANS
We’ve all seen those gorgeous Arhaus boho poufs, right? If not, they look a little bit (okay exactly) like this…
They come in all kinds of colors and designs, but they’re all beautifully made. But do you think you need to go spend $149 on this gorgeous pouf to get the look?
Nope!
Check out this gorgeous boho pouf that is the exact same size as the Arhaus one for only $55 from Walmart!
Walmart has been stepping up its decor game lately, and I’m here for it! They have all kinds of farmhouse style decor items that you can find for way less than some of the top designer stores!
They’re definitely one to check out if you’re trying to find the look!
ROUND JUTE RUGS
Okay, you knew this one was coming if you follow me on Instagram. But recently, I found a Serena & Lily rug that I just loved and wanted for my kitchen.
The catch? It was going to cost me almost $300!
Nope. Nope. Nope.
Not for a kitchen rug that would inevitably get stained and torn to shreds before too long, let’s be honest.
So I did my research, and I found the look for way less on Amazon.
It is the same basic style and color, but this one only cost me $100!
FRESH CUT FLOWERS SIGN
Have you seen that pretty Antique Farmhouse Fresh Cut Flowers sign floating around? It’s simply gorgeous, but it also isn’t the cheapest.
It costs $44. Which don’t get me wrong is not that bad, but it’s always worth a little research to see if you can find it for less, right?
How about this pretty duplicate from Amazon?
This one is just as cute but only costs $20! If you want to splurge on the real deal, go right ahead! But if you have your eye on a couple of items, saving that $20 might just be worth it!
SEAGRASS BASKETS
Anyone else obsessed with these this season? Just me? No, it can’t be just me! They’re popping up everywhere.
Some of my favorite seagrass baskets come from Serena & Lily, but again, they’re a little pricey!
These baskets range from $138 – $298 per basket. Yes, you read that right. Per. Basket.
They’re beautiful, and if you want to splurge, by all means. But for baskets, I almost always opt to find some for less.
My favorite budget-friendly seagrass baskets this season are from Target!
These baskets range from $25 – $45 per basket. Way more reasonable if you ask me! And this isn’t a super close and exact look. The Serena & Lily baskets are more designed. But these will give you the same basic look, and you’ll save hundreds!
BOHO PILLOWS
Unless you’ve been living under a rock lately, you have seen those pretty boho Magnolia pillows everywhere. They’re so detailed. So pretty! But not the cheapest. This one in particular is $82.
And if you’re like me, you never go somewhere and simply buy one pillow. You are usually looking for several to fill out a space. So $82 times however many pillows you need adds up fast!
But just take a look around at a few other places and you’ll be sure to find this same look for way less.
Like this pretty pillow from Wayfair for just $37!
And this one doesn’t just stop here. You’ll find this style at a lot of stores like Target and Walmart too, so take a peek around before you splurge on the $82 designer look!
TURKISH TOWELS
I adore Turkish Towels, and a lot of designer stores are starting to jump on the trend lately too.
Take Serena & Lily for example. You guys can probably tell I love Serena & Lily by now right? If only I had a Serena & Lily budget!
These towels are so pretty. So detailed. And those tassels, am I right? But for $68 per towel, there’s got to be a better option!
Cue Olive & Linen Turkish Towels. I’m a huge Olive & Linen fan because their towels aren’t just great quality, but they’re great prices too!
These pretty towels will give you the same look and come in a set for $39…
And if you use my coupon code: FARMHOUSEISH30 you can save 30% on that price!
Talk about a win-win!
WOVEN CONCRETE PLANTERS
Meanwhile back at Arhaus, have you seen their gorgeous woven concrete planters made to resemble baskets?
I fell in love with these the first time I saw them, but for $79, it was a little hard to justify!
So that’s when I started searching around. There are actually a few budget-friendly options for these out there, like this $39 duplicate from Kirklands!
Target also had some Heart & Hand by Magnolia woven cement planter but they’re currently out of stock. You better believe I’ll keep an eye out for when they’re back in stock for the spring!
SPEND TIME, NOT MONEY
If given the choice, I love to spend a little time searching for designer styles for less instead of spending all my money on one single item! It becomes a bit of a competition within myself to see how much I can save without sacrificing style!
So let me know what you think — were you surprised by any of these duplicated? Share your favorites in the comments below!
