How I Upgraded My Bathtub Decor With High Quality Walmart Items

I’ve been working hard on a big main bathroom renovation for a while now… about two months to be exact! We demoed everything except for the shower and started new.

We even decided to put in a freestanding bathtub! Our bathroom didn’t have a tub before.

The funny thing about that? I’ve never actually been a bath person! But I realized that my issue likely wasn’t with baths themselves. I was doing it all wrong!

So as I started to think through what would make me a bath person, I got some ideas. I needed to focus on creating a cozy, inviting bathtub environment that would make me WANT to spend time in there!

You see, I always felt guilty taking that time for myself, not to mention I could never sit still knowing all the things I could be doing.

But I need to carve out that time for me! Self-care is so important!

So I started researching, and I found the perfect additions for the space from Walmart Home!

HOW I UPGRADED MY BATHTUB DECOR WITH HIGH QUALITY WALMART ITEMS

The Gap Home bath collection from Walmart Home was calling my name! It’s a newer collection with the cutest items! I snagged a Sculpted Organic Cotton towel set in white, and let me tell you. I am SO impressed with the quality of these towels!

They are thick, absorbent, oh so soft, and downright beautiful!

If textured towels aren’t your thing, Walmart’s Gap Home line also have plain sets!

As I was searching around for a bath mat, I stumbled right back to the the Gap Home section of Walmart Home and fell in love with this non-slip popcorn bath mat! Honestly, it is so comfy to step on that I had to look and see if it was gel infused or something! I love it!

I got it in khaki because, well, we don’t have great luck with keeping white bath mats clean. As much as I love them! But this khaki color is absolutely perfect!

It didn’t take much to upgrade my space! After I know the towels I wanted to use, the rest came together easily!

I grabbed a cute bamboo bathtub caddy, lit a candle in a beautiful lantern, rolled up some washcloths with my bath accessories, and that’s it!

The perfect bathtub experience to invite me in and keep me from feeling guilty!

Now I just need my iPad with a good show to binge, and I could stay in here for hours!

Sometimes, all it takes is a few simple touches to create an intentional space!
