If you’re like me, then with the New Year comes a mindset to start things fresh. To get organized. Really to just get your life in order.
I’ve been setting goals, thinking ahead, and preparing for all that is to come this year, but you know one thing that always tries to hold me back?
Clutter. Disorganized spaces. Chaos.
I’m someone who likes things to be in order. Clutter and I don’t get along well. In fact, clutter really clouds my mindset and distracts me from all that I want to focus on.
So with that said, I’m all about organizing, reorganizing, and keeping things simple with solutions that work and don’t break the bank.
LET’S TALK PANTRY ORGANIZATION
One space in my home that always needs a little extra help is the pantry. With how many little (and big) hands go in and out of there on a daily basis, it constantly seems as if we need to reorganize it.
That was easy for me to do about six months ago when we first gave order to the madness that was boxes and cans shoved in wherever they could fit.
But after a few months, I slowly fell back into old habits of shoving food into baskets for a faux-organized look… until you got close enough to realize it was nothing but organized chaos.
Same goes for my spice cabinet. I stuck them all in cute jars with fun hand-written labels, but after a while, it all just turned to chaos.
So I spent just about an hour reorganizing the madness, and because I already had systems in place, I was able to give order to the pantry and spice cabinet in no time flat!
MY BIGGEST TIP
So here’s my biggest tip: Never stop paying attention to the spaces you organize. Every month or two (depending on how often you use the space), spend an hour or less reorganizing.
That way, you always stay on top of it and it never gets ahead of you!
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s get to the fun part — the organization solutions I’m loving for the pantry and spice cabinet!

SIMPLE SOLUTIONS TO ORGANIZE YOUR PANTRY & SPICE CABINET WITH EASE (AND STYLE)
I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to putting things into containers and baskets. But I know I’m not alone!
So when I found these great storage and organization solutions from Target (and on a budget), I did a little happy dance…
Then I got to work organizing!
HERE ARE JUST A FEW OF MY FAVORITES!
These spice jars are kind of short and stumpy which I love, plus the copper lids give me life! I simply write on them with a permanent marker to label them and add the expiration dates on the inside of the lids.
Plus, with these jars, I’m able to snap on other sizes of stoppers in case the particular spice or seasoning is a bit larger.
I love crates to hold things you don’t need as often like paper plates, party napkins, straws, toothpicks, plastic cutlery, etc.!
Baskets like these are great for containing a lot of items on a top shelf. It’s easy to see what’s in there, but even easier to pull down and sort through whenever you need to!
I’m in love with these large white cabinet organizer baskets!
They are perfect for snacks, boxes, baking supplies, and dry goods. You can see what’s in them, but they can easily keep food categories together and organized!
Same goes for these small white cabinet organizer baskets! They’re great for containing things like oils or sweet treats! Plus they’re pretty — added bonus!
I just love these OXO containers for things like nuts, dried fruit, seeds, and even things like cookies or pretzels.
They’re easy for my daughter to grab and use herself without worrying about how to open or reseal a bag, so they help her feel independent and self-sufficient!
Plus they give this mama life! I did mention how I just love putting things into new containers, right?
These baskets are so versatile, not to mention they’re the perfect size to help organize things on the floor of a hall closet or pantry! I used two of these to hold chips and paper towels on the floor of my pantry.
It was a great way to utilize that space without feeling like we had food just sitting on the floor!
These baskets (much like their larger version I shared a few back) are great for keeping things contained and categorized so that you can easily see what’s in them and can also easily remove them from the pantry to grab what you need!
I like these smaller ones for canned goods!
These containers are perfect for cereals! They help keep them nice and fresh while allowing you to see at a glance how much of something you have left! No more grabbing an empty box out of the pantry again!
And there you have it — a few of my very favorite pantry and spice cabinet organizers!
