Ahh shoes. I have to admit, I’ve never really been a huge shoe person. Purses were a different story!
But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that the perfect pair of shoes can totally make or break an outfit.
I’ve realized that if I’m going to simplify my closet with my foundational outfits and minimal items, then shoes are one of the very best ways to accessorize my outfits and add a little personality.
And I’ve realized that they’re just so darn cute!
What I’ve also discovered as I’ve gotten older is that you can almost always find the look you’re going for without breaking the bank, so today I’m bringing you 6 incredibly budget-friendly spring shoe options plus 1 bonus splurge-worthy shoe (because sometimes you just gotta do it)!
Let’s do this!

7 PAIRS OF SHOES THAT WILL HELP YOU EFFORTLESSLY TRANSITION YOUR WARDROBE FROM WINTER TO SPRING
MADEWELL BOARDWALK SANDALS
These sandals have been my absolute go-to sandals for several seasons now! Not only does the camel leather get you from spring through fall, but they are durable enough to be worn every day and live to see another season!
Madewell shoes have a special place in my heart, and these are no exception. Plus, they’re very affordable (these are less than $60), are often on sale, and like I said, last for seasons to come!
I truly think I wore these shoes a minimum of 3 times per week last spring through fall, and I plan to do the same again!
TARGET WHISPER MULES
These cute mules are a closet staple! Again, these can really be worn all year round if the weather permits and can easily be dressed up or down, worn to work, or be slipped on to run a quick errand.
This versatile mule is a timeless must, and because it’s from Target, you know it won’t break the bank! This shoe comes in at just $25!
TARGET SLINGBACK PUMPS
I don’t usually go heels, but these block heel, cut-out pumps are simply too cute not to talk about! I mean the cognac color is the perfect neutral for spring and summer, this block heel means you’ll be stable, and the adorably subtle pattern just had me from the start!
These heels could be worn with a cute sundress, a pair of jeans, and might even become your summer wedding staple. Definitely worth $35 if you ask me!
TARGET VIOLET MULES
These mules are just so cute, am I right? We all know animal prints are here to stay (for a while at least), and leopard was so big this winter. But this subtle animal print mule is might lighter for spring.
This subtle pop of personality in a shoe screams trendy but classy, and they’re neutral enough to be worn with just about anything!
Plus, mixing patterns is so in right now, so really and truly, you could get away with wearing them with whatever you want!
Plus, these are also just $25!
TARGET CREAM SANDALS
Remember the Madewell Boardwalk sandals from up top? These cute cream sandals are about to become my spring and summer go-tos!
They’re cozy slip-ons, the perfect creamy neutral, and can again be worn with anything from a dress to jeans or shorts!
I just love the soft creamy color and the price — just $15!
TARGET TWO-PIECE SANDALS
Looking for something slightly dressier than a slip-on sandal? What about these cute two-piece sandals from Target?
I love a good black sandal to dress up a summer outfit, and the added back here adds just enough sophistication to make it your perfect going out shoe this spring and summer.
Plus, it comes in a. variety of colors and is only $23!
SPLURGE-WORTHY MADEWELL RAFFIA BABOUCHE MULES
These shoes aren’t cheap, but boy are they pretty! This handwoven design and feel is simply gorgeous. These were a Christmas present from my sweet husband, and I’ve been so in love with them since the day I opened them!
They’re very comfortable, perfect for spring, adding a neutral texture to any outfit, and the history behind them can’t be beat!
The tough part… they’ll run you over $200. So this is definitely a treat-yo-self kind of shoe! But boy are they beautiful!
And that’s it! Which spring shoes are your favorites? Let me know which ones you’ll be rocking this season in the comments!
